Systems Operator (Part-Time) - UNIX, Windows

One of the world's foremost planning, engineering, and program and construction management firms is seeking a part-time Systems Operator. The basic job function is to monitor the UNIX and Windows (2000 & 2003) servers and help desk.

Responsibilities:

Monitor the servers


Perform back-ups


Provide help desk support on basic issues such as printer problems


Be responsible for the server room


Background/Qualifications:

1-3 years experience as a Systems Operator for UNIX and windows.


Experience performing back-ups.


Remedy and help desk experience.


Active directory experience (i.e., must be able to unlock accounts).


Must be dependable, reliable and personable.
